Cameroon deported 100,000 Nigerian refugees

According to Human Rights Watch (HRW), Cameroon has forcibly returned 100,000 Nigerian refugees in breach of international agreements. As the Boko Haram insurgence continues in Nigeria, refugees continue to flock into the neighboring Cameron. With refugees camps filled up, it is increasingly difficult for Cameroon to cope with the inflow of refugees from Nigeria.

However, HRW said that Cameroon is punishing Nigerian refugees for Boko Haram attacks on Cameroon. Boko Haram has repeatedly launched attacks inside Cameroon which borders with Nigeria. HRW further alleged that Cameroonian soldiers have repeatedly abused the women refugees by forcibly making love with them.
