Ariana Grande concert incident – Social media footage shows a crowd panicking after a blast took place at Manchester arena. At least 22 deaths and over 50 injuries have been reported. American Singer Ariana Grande was performing at the concert where the blast took place but witness says the blast occurred at the end of the concert. Spokesman for Grande says the singer is okay. The attack was carried out by a Muslim, Salman Abedi, aged 22, who was born in Manchester in 1994 to parents of Libyan origin.

Meanwhile, ISIS supporters are celebrating the attack on social media and this signifies that ISIS is behind the attack. Police say that the explosion was at the foyer area of the stadium. Meanwhile, the police have issued a statement which reads:

Police statement on incident at Manchester Arena.

“Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena. There are a number of confirmed fatalities and others injured. Please AVOID the area as first responders work tirelessly at the scene. Details of a casualty bureau will follow as soon as possible.”

Police say a suicide bomber was involved and that he died at the scene. Meanwhile, Britain’s leading parties agreed to suspend campaigning for the June 8 general election out of respect for the victims of the attack.

Prime Minister Theresa May said the police were treating the incident as “an appalling terrorist attack.
