In what looks as if the radio talk show host, Mark Levin, who has often attacked Hillary Clinton in the past, is trying to get some favor from President Trump, he surprisingly called out the media for celebrating former President Barack Obama, who he described as “a man who did more in modern American history to abuse the media.” He claimed that Obama did more to criminalize and charge, punish and imprison matters related to reporting than any modern president. He also claimed that “if Donald Trump decides as president to throw a whistleblower in jail for trying to talk to a reporter, or gets the F.B.I. to spy on a journalist, he will have one man to thank for bequeathing him such expansive power: Barack Obama.”
He added in his script that “the hostility of the media, the salivating, poisonous, vile hate that comes through the screen from everyone at CNN, everyone at MSNBC, and that comes through the writings of The New York Times and The Washington Post is obvious. And yet, Donald Trump has done nothing to the media in this country – nothing.”
“He’s done nothing to any reporter in this country. He’s done nothing to any of their sources, as far as we know. And he has every right to do it. But he hasn’t.” Levin seems to forget the fact that the last time we checked, it was President Trump who organized the 2017 Fake News Awards against the media, despite the fact that he (Trump) is the one who is actually spreading fake news on Twitter.
