New York Post reports that Wu Yongning, 26, a daredevil who called himself “China’s First Rooftopper,” plummeted to his death during a risky stunt near the top of a 62-story building in China. Chinese medias report that he was participating in a challenge to win a substantial amount of prize money. They say that Yongning would have received 100,000 yuan which is about $15,000 for the stunt.

The camera phone that he had set up to record the stunt quickly lost sight of him. BBC says that he planned to propose to his girlfriend the day after the challenge.
