According to U.S. officials, a radar spotted a Syrian military fixed-wing aircraft dropping chemical weapons bombs some days ago and that airstrike appeared to intentionally seek out an underground hospital which is being operated by the rebel group. The government in Syria has been accused for the second time of using chemical weapons on it’s citizens. Over 80 people reportedly died from this attack.
After a 2013 chemical weapons attack, the U.S struck a deal with Syria. In the deal, Syrian government pledged to not use chemical weapons of any form on it’s citizens. The deal was made after president Obama threatened to use military force but later pulled back. The so-called deal was proposed by Russian.
