Two teenage girls were barred from boarding a flight by United Airlines because they were wearing leggings. A move that sparked a lot of criticism on social media. However, the Airline has responded that the girls in question were traveling under an employee travel pass that includes a dress code. Hence they were asked to wear something to cover up their leggins. The girls complied and took the next available flight from Denver to Minneapolis.
United Airline further explained in a tweet that they acted according to their rules.
