Bill Cosby has been found guilty in the second trial for drugging and assaulting women. Judge Steven O’Neill found Cosby guilty for each of the three counts against him. Although the trial was about one woman, Andrea Constand who is 45 years old, 29 other women also accused Cosby of committing the same offence against them. Mr. Cosby’s defense team tried to portray Ms. Constand as a “con artist” who made up the allegations to extract money from the star comedian. Mr. Cosby paid Ms. Constand $3.38 million to settle a 2005 lawsuit she filed against him alleging assault. He didn’t admit wrongdoing.
