A woman, Irene Clennell, who was married to a British man for 27 years has been deported back to Singapore. She stayed outside U.K. for more than 2 years and thereby invalidated her indefinite stay in Britain. Foreigners with indefinite stay in Britain are not allowed to stay more than 2 years in foreign countries, otherwise, their stay would automatically become invalid.
