According to officials, five large sacks of money which contains bundles of banknotes worth a total of $155,000 have been seized at a Nigerian airport in Kaduna. The cash was found and confiscated by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the check-in area of the airport. On it’s website, the EFCC reported that it intercepted a sum of N49 million in five large black 150kg colored BUHU sacks following a tip off. It added that “Investigation into the case is in top gear to unravel the culprits behind the attempted illegal movement of the cash.” In his speech at the APC meeting, president Buhari promised to fight corruption in the country.
