Trump urged to resign before impeachment vote

President Donald Trump has been asked to resign before impeachment vote takes place. Former President Richard Nixon is the first and only U.S. President to resign from office. He resigned in August 1974 when he stepped down before facing almost certain impeachment over the Watergate scandal.

Democratic Coalition co-founder Scott Dworkin asked Trump to resign by tweeting the following message at him: “You can still stop your impeachment from happening. All you have to do is resign. And I bet if you tweeted out your resignation, it would be the most shared tweet of all time. Wouldn’t that be worth it? Think of all the retweets and likes.” Trump who is still seriously thinking about his impeachment is yet to reply Dworkin’s tweet.
